Terms of Service

Effective 1 October 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and LobbyForge ("we", "us") about your use of the LobbyForge dashboard and the LobbyForge Discord bot (together, "the Service"). By signing in, or by adding the bot to a Discord server, you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the Service.

What LobbyForge is

LobbyForge lets you design a lobby system for a Discord server. You build a layout in the dashboard — the fields, the dropdowns, the colours, the wording — preview how Discord will render it, and publish it to your server. The bot then creates voice lobbies and posts lobby embeds in the channels you route it to.

Use of the Service is additionally subject to the End-User Licence Agreement.

Who may use it

  • You must follow Discord's own Terms of Service and Community Guidelines. Losing your Discord account means losing access to the Service.
  • Discord requires its users to be at least 13, and higher in some countries. If you are not old enough to hold a Discord account where you live, you may not use the Service.
  • To manage a server in the dashboard you need the Manage Server permission in that Discord server. We re-check this against Discord periodically, so losing the permission removes your access.
  • If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are allowed to accept these terms for it.

Acceptable use

Do not use the Service to:

  • break the law, or help anyone else break it;
  • harass, threaten, or target people, or publish sexualised material of any kind (including, but not limited to, sexualised material involving minors), or content that is hateful or violent;
  • post content into Discord through the bot that you would not be allowed to post yourself under Discord's rules — layouts, lobby notes and panel text are all published under your server's name and are your responsibility;
  • automate, script, or otherwise drive the Service at a volume it is not designed for, or work around plan limits, rate limits or the authentication system;
  • probe, scan or attack the Service, or try to reach data belonging to a server you do not administer;
  • resell the Service, or run it as the backend of a competing product.

You are responsible for what happens in servers you administer, including what your members put into lobby names and notes.

Your layouts

The layouts, panel designs and wording you create stay yours. You give us the permission we need to store them, render them, and publish them into your Discord server — that is simply what running the Service requires. We do not claim ownership and we do not use your designs to promote LobbyForge without asking you first.

Deleting a layout in the dashboard is a soft delete: its button disappears and no new lobbies can be opened for it, but the published history is kept so support can undo an accident.

Free and paid plans

There is a free plan and a paid plan. Each has limits — how many layouts a server may have, how many lobbies can be open at once, how many servers one account may install the bot into, and so on. The limits in force are the ones shown in your dashboard.

These limits can change. The free plan's limits are a considered guess made before anyone had usage data, and they will be adjusted as we learn what real servers need. We will not tighten a limit on a paid plan you are currently paying for without telling you first. If a change to a paid plan is one you do not accept, you may cancel.

If and when paid plans are live, prices, billing periods and refund terms will be shown at the point of purchase, and payment will be handled by a payment processor — we do not see or store your card details.

Availability

We will try to keep the Service running, but we do not promise any particular uptime. We may change, suspend or withdraw features. The Service depends entirely on Discord, and Discord can change its API, its rate limits or its rules at any time, which may break things outside our control.

Suspension and termination

You can stop at any time: remove the bot from your servers and sign out. You can ask us to delete your account and data — see the Privacy Policy for how.

We may suspend or terminate access if you break these terms, if your use puts the Service or other users at risk, or if we are required to by law or by Discord. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will tell you why and give you a chance to fix it first. Serious cases — abuse, attacks, illegal content — can be immediate. The Fair Use Policy describes in more detail what we treat as a breach and how enforcement works in practice.

No warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any data will never be lost. Nothing here removes rights you have under consumer law that cannot be removed by agreement.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, for lost profits, lost revenue, lost goodwill, or for lost or corrupted data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or USD 50.

LobbyForge is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Discord Inc. "Discord" and the Discord logo are trademarks of Discord Inc., used here only to describe what the Service works with.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top, and for changes that materially affect you we will give notice in the dashboard or in the support Discord before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the new version.
